Hello! My name is Tom Jolly. By day I run an insurance brokerage called Sirelark Risk Services and in my spare time I love to take photographs, principally of landscapes and the built environment.
It started as a hobby in 2021, but over the last couple of years I have been inexorably drawn further into the photography rabbit hole. It is great fun, interesting, and intellectually and creatively challenging. It is also a great way to learn and appreciate the world around us.
However, there is so much to learn and remember, so I decided to create an online portal, to keep track of what I have learnt, who the gurus are and links to their work, serve as a reminder of good photography locations, and create platform to store and share some of my photographs.
The portal is built with knack. It’s a great tool as it allows me to keep the content organised and up to date without needing to spend too much time on it.
